Where you are today

You've already done the hard part — your team built a modernized version of the briancartercellars.com site in Claude Code. What's left is the operational work to take that build from local to live: hosting, domain, security hardening, performance, SEO foundations, and clean integration with OrderPort while you evaluate longer-term API access.

This proposal scopes that go-live as a fixed-fee sprint, then offers a simple monthly care plan so the site stays healthy without consuming Ben's bandwidth. Larger initiatives — paid marketing and full OrderPort API integration — are noted as separate phases to be scoped after launch.

02

Phase 1 — Launch Sprint

One-time, fixed-fee. Live by Monday.

Included with the launch sprint — a $1,500+ value, no extra charge

Because we're moving fast and we want you set up to win after launch, the Phase 1 fee includes four extras that most agencies bill separately:

  • One month of White Glove Care, free — your first 30 days post-launch are on us ($399 value). Strategy call, priority support, included edits.
  • Google Ads launch + 30 days of campaign management — account setup, audience & keyword research, first campaign live, daily optimization for 30 days. You fund the ad spend; we manage it.
  • Full tracking stack installed — Google Analytics 4, Search Console, Google Tag Manager, conversion events for add-to-cart and purchase, OrderPort handoff tracking. Standalone value: $1,500.
  • 1-page competitive + keyword opportunity report — Ahrefs-driven snapshot of where direct-to-consumer wine traffic is going, who's outranking you, and the 10 keywords most worth chasing.
Timeline: Kickoff within 24 hours of signed proposal and 50% deposit. Live by end-of-day Monday assuming the Claude-built site is feature-complete and DNS access is provided on day one.
03

Phase 2 — Ongoing Care Plan

Pick the level of involvement that fits how Ben wants to operate. Cancel any time after the first 90 days.

Standard Care

$99/ month

Quiet, reliable, hands-off. The site stays up and stays healthy.

  • Hosting, SSL, and CDN on Hodgen.AI Vercel
  • Multi-region uptime monitors with synthetic checks of your homepage, product pages, and OrderPort handoff — automatic alerts the moment anything breaks
  • Security patching and dependency updates
  • Daily backups + one-click rollback
  • Email support (next-business-day response)
  • Monthly health report (uptime, performance, traffic snapshot)
Beyond the plan: Any work outside the included scope — content additions, new features, larger redesigns, ad-hoc consulting — is billed at $250/hour, quoted in advance for anything over 2 hours.
04

Phase 3 — Marketing engagement (optional, post-launch)

The site exists to drive wine sales. Once it's live and we have a baseline, we can layer in paid acquisition (Google Ads, Meta, retargeting), SEO content, and email/SMS lifecycle programs. Hodgen.AI runs full-funnel programs for several brands today — we'd treat Brian Carter Cellars the same way: clear monthly reporting, blended ROAS targets, and decisions logged in writing.

12-Month Marketing Retainer

$2,500–$5,000/ month (TBD)

Scope and price depend on which channels we activate, ad budget you want managed, and how much content production is included. We'll quote this concretely after the launch sprint, when we have real data on traffic, conversion, and where the highest-leverage growth lever sits.

05

Phase 4 — OrderPort API integration (optional, post-access)

The Phase 1 launch treats OrderPort as the source of truth for inventory, pricing, and checkout — your new site links cleanly to OrderPort pages, so nothing is gated on API access. If Brian Carter Cellars grants Hodgen.AI API credentials and decides a deeper integration is worth pursuing, we'd scope it as a separate engagement.

Estimated Range

$5,000–$15,000(TBD)

Final number depends on scope: read-only product/inventory sync sits at the low end; full bidirectional sync, custom checkout, club/membership integration, and order data pipeline sit at the high end. We'd issue a fixed-fee SOW after a 1-week discovery once API access is granted.
